Silent Auction Rules

  1. Bidding Process – All bids must be written on the bid sheet provided for each item. Please print your name (auction number from the registration desk and bid legibly
     

  2. Minimum Bids & Increments – Items will not have a stated minimum bid and no required bid increment.
     

  3. Closing Time – Bidding will close promptly at the time posted. No bids will be accepted after closing.
     

  4. Winning Bids – The highest valid bid at closing time will be the winner. Auction volunteers will verify and record the winning bids.
     

  5. Payment – All items must be paid for in full at the end of the auction by cash, check, or credit card before leaving from the premises. Do not have to be present to claim your winning item(s).
     

  6. Item Pickup – Winning bidders should claim and remove their items the night of the auction unless other arrangements are made with RVR staff.
     

  7. All Sales Final – No exchanges, refunds, or substitutions. All items are sold “as is.”
     

  8. Fair Market Value – Values listed are estimates provided by the donor. River Valley Resources, Inc. is not responsible for discrepancies.
     

  9. Disputes – In the event of a dispute, the Silent Auction Committee’s decision is final.
     

  10. Thank You – Your participation directly supports RVR’s mission to strengthen our community through education, workforce, and social service programs.

River Valley Resources, Inc. is not responsible for cancellations of events, assumes no liability for any claims, damage or loss of auction items.
