WorkOne staff introduce people to a new world of resources that will help them find the right job. In addition to all of the "self-help" and job-matching capabilities of the WorkOne centers, there are more intensive services available.

For instance, you may need some one-on-one counseling. Or you may need an individual employability plan that gives you some hard and fast steps to reach your employment goal.

You may want to take advantage of the varied workshops in everything from resume writing to budgeting to managing change. You may need some more in-depth evaluation of your training needs. And we may be able to develop on your behalf some job opportunities with an appropriate employer in the area.

There are also special workshops and services available to individuals who have lost their jobs due to a plant downsizing or closing. Re-training is also a possibility.
