RVR, House of Favor Have New Partnership
A new partnership has resulted in RVR’s Connersville, IN, office moving to a new location. RVR is now located in the House of Favor, which houses several ministries of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. RVR’s IMPACT Case Manager Erika Owen says her clients are very pleased with the new setting. Erika has written articles for the church newsletter explaining the services provided by RVR.
RVR Selected as WIA Service Provider
The Region 9 Regional Workforce Board has named RVR as the provider of Workforce Investment Act services to adults, dislocated workers, and youth in the 10 counties of the newly configured Regional Workforce Area: Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland. Since the inception of the federal Workforce Investment Act, RVR had provided these same services in the former Southeastern Indiana Workforce Service Area, which included seven of the counties in the new Region 9.
RVR Named Regional Operator
The Central Indiana Regional Workforce Board has selected RVR as Regional Operator for Region 5, which consists of Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Hancock, Shelby, Johnson, Morgan and Madison counties. Indiana has been divided into 11 Regional Workforce Service Areas. As Regional Operator, RVR is responsible for contracting and oversight of workforce services within the Region 5 geographic area. RVR provides support services for the board, as well as operational oversight and management for the WorkOne offices in the region.

RVR's PeyBack Foundation grant for our Kamper Kids project made it possible for children of our Indianapolis IMPACT customers to attend the Waycross Episcopal Camp in Brown County, IN, for a week this summer.
The PeyBack Foundation was established by Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning in 1999 to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth. Grants are made to organizations in Indiana, New Orleans, and Tennessee.
