A 3-year CARF accreditation has been awarded to RVR for its Employment Services, Community Employment Services, and Job Development programs. The announcement from CARF said: “This accreditation outcome represents the highest level of accreditation. . . An organization receiving a 3-year accreditation outcome has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.”
CARF establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.

WHO ARE WE?

River Valley Resources, Inc., is a company of highly qualified professionals with many years of experience in workforce development for employers and job-seekers, fiscal management, training development, grant-writing, and in devising new and innovative programs that get the job done---whatever that job may be!

We have a diverse staff. Our backgrounds are in teaching, business, journalism, social work, finance, program administration, human resources, rehabilitation services, counseling, advertising, radio, large corporations and small businesses, office management, law enforcement, and the high tech world of computers. We operate as a team, dependent on each other’s skills and abilities and insight and encouragement. We are serious about our work, but we like to laugh on the job. We take pride in our unique RVR Culture.

WHAT DO WE DO?

For almost 30 years, our staff has administered employment and training programs funded through federal and state sources.

Our funds come from many different competitive grants and contracts. For instance, we were awarded a $5 million competitive Welfare-to-Work grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, one of only 49 organizations nationwide to be selected in the first round of funding. RVR's project was commended as a model program and was one of only 11 selected from across the country as an evaluation site. We have received several grants to serve persons with disabilities.

RVR is skilled in Workforce Investment Act management and implementation and has a long history as fiscal agent and program operator for WIA funds.
